What do you have that you didn’t receive? And if you received it, then why are you bragging as if you didn’t receive it?


This verse emphasizes that everything a person has—talents, wealth, wisdom—comes from God. Though mankind may appear to possess many things, ultimately, all is given by God and should not be a source of pride but gratitude.
